A week (or more) of solid rain had waterfalls flowing at a torrential speed. It both cleared out old log jams and created new ones.

After posting a number of less colorful photographs recently, today I thought I would reflect back on the beautiful fall colors we had along the Animas River last year.

At the end of the winter er there is still a lack of blossems and leaves in nature. So I had to improvise to make a colorfull image, while there was nothing in bloom.
At the end of the day I stood at an lake and had a really beautifull sunset. With a little bit of experimentations this was my favourite of the day.

Foto im Hochformat. Das Ende eines Steges, der von rechts ins Bild kommt. Darauf ist ein rot-weiß gestreifter ca. 12 Meter hoher Leuchtturm. Der Leuchtturm verdeckt die Sonne am Himmel und bekommt so einen Schein aus Licht an der Spitze. Ein Flugzeug fliegt am Himmel, der Kondensstreifen kommt aus der linken oberen Ecke des Bildes und das Flugzeug ist gerade knapp über der Spitze des Leuchtturms. Um den Turm stehen und sitzen einige Leute.
