Húsavík, known as the whale capital of Iceland, is a popular departure point for whale-watching tours. While the weather didn’t allow us to head out to sea that day, the snowfall added a quiet charm to the town’s iconic wooden church, which was built in 1907.

Uppsala Cathedral is the largest church building in Scandinavia, with its twin spires reaching over 118 meters into the sky. I had the privilege of seeing the imposing cathedral regularly, but capturing it shrouded in fog remains one of my favorite moments.

In the Heavens / In Cielo

On my travels I ended up taking a detour to a church yesterday. I had never been to before and out of the corner of my eye I spotted the moon and the cross peeking through this little angle in the arch. It was hard to get everything into frame - this is the best I could do! 😂
