I think the idea of #begging is fine, because unlike other behaviours that trouble readers, it's all about #trust and intent.

I also think #criticism of behaviours is fine. I'm not sure the main reason for the begging matters because if #mastodon ever agree on what we find acceptable, then every begging post will be for that.

I don't think the begging topic is the issue. It's almost entirely about trust I think.

I've mentioned this before but I don't know if we ever crossed threads 🙂

France's #research minister Philippe Baptiste said a #French #scientist was denied entry to the US this month after immigration officers at an #airport searched his phone and found messages in which he had expressed #criticism of the #US administration. A diplomatic source told that the incident occurred on 9 March.
