Ben weer begonnen, boven op mijn kamer, met #Zaaien en #Voortrekken. #Prei komt op, na een kleine week. Twee kisten/dozen met #Dahlia bollen van vorig jaar vandaag in potten gedaan! En nu maar wachten, wat er weer boven komt! Komende week zijn de #Pepers, #Paprika’s e.d. aan de beurt. En buiten moeten nu snel mijn #Kapucijners. Maar ik moet hun bedje nog in orde maken.

One of the few dahlias that survived from autumn 2023 until spring 2024. It was a lengthy and rewarding process, from when I put the seed in the ground until it produced a small shrub full of flowers that summer of 2023. The tubes are growing larger by the year and I’m hoping that it has what it takes to be dug up, left in a shoebox and dug into the ground again for many more years to come.
Soon to be pulled out from that shoebox again to be put back into a pot for the summer of 2025.
