WTF, people?
Why do I need to sign in with my Google or GitHub account (spoiler: I have neither, and it's gonna stay that way), to use #Jitsi ... which is, at least nominally, a #FOSS service?
This used to be a good project.... What happened?

Edit: Okay, it's not Jitsi, exactly ... it's only the default instance, meet.jit.si which is hosted by Jitsi ... and their explanation is shifty and evasive, but may in fact be some kind of NSL or belated Warrant Canary warning, or something.
All that said, it's hard to find alternate hosts, but I did find this.
