Should r/FedNews continue using Megathreads?
Alright folks, let's talk structure. You know the drill. Big event happens (RIF/VERA chaos, shutdowns, whatever), we spin up a Megathread. Daily questions, vents, minor stuff? We point you to the Daily Discussion Thread. The idea, supposedly, is to keep the main feed cleaner, less repetitive, and focused on actual news or unique, substantive discussions (Rule 6, remember?).We spend a decent chunk of time redirecting posts, removing duplicates, and generally trying to herd cats into these designated zones. So, the question is: Is it actually working for you? Do you find the Megathreads useful for consolidating info on big topics? Do you use the Daily Thread for quick hits? Or is it all just an annoying hurdle that gets in the way?We need to know if maintaining these is worth the effort on our end and if they actually serve the community, or if we should just let the chaos reign (and deal with the inevitable complaints about clutter later).Quick Poll: Megathread Usage- Cannabun (for the Mod Team)
