I saw another comedy show tonight, Elf Lyons', Horses.

It was gorgeous. Funny, silly, dark, absurd, and a bit lovely.

I absolutely recommend it.

It has audience participation (consensual), and mime, and lip syncing monologues. I'm usually just a stand-up girl, less into the artsier side, but I loved it.

Hearing reports that after 134 days, the Box Hill Bus Station escalator has finally been fixed. Confirmation by yours truly to come shortly.

One of the few remaining pieces of the so-called pop-up bike infrastructure trial* is some separated bike lane fragments along Marine Parade. There was a consultation on making those changes permanent in 2024, with results from the consultation due to be released in November 2024.
Consultation results STILL haven't been released. Port Phillip BUG members have been asking about this repeatedly: to DTP, to Active Transport Minister Gabrielle Williams, and to our local members Nina Taylor and James Newbury.
Finally, Minister Williams has replied to one of our queries.... to say that they are "working through the results".
We're not holding our breath!

Crikey, looks like summer's not quite done with Melbourne yet.

Just had a swim at the Fitzroy Pool, lovely day for it. I think that's the latest date before winter I've ever had a swim in an outdoor pool, I usually give up around the end of March.
