Some #Republicans are pushing back on #tariffs and one quite loudly.

Will it work? That remains to be seen butI predict that this will affirm the fear of many #Republican voters leading to them calling & writing to their own #Senators & #Representatives. That & the wave of #Democratic might *make* a difference. How much these leaders care about their own ellectorate is unclear, but they *do* care about their own #power & #prestige.

No matter how hard the #Republicans and #Trump lie, this has nothing to do with "returning jobs to American soil" and rebuilding the United States as some sort of 1950s all-industries global powerhouse

It has entirely to do with graft and baksheesh:

Come groveling to Trump on your knees, kiss Trump's ...
